Using our wayback machine, let’s go back to a time – the before times – when I introduced this new series called “How Not to be…” It was, basically, little rants about companies who were doing silly things that did nothing to appeal to their consumer or even business base and that was sad. I haven’t done one of these in a while, but this past weekend stated that there are still companies out there who…because reasons.
So last weekend, I discovered that my Note 2 stopped working. And by that, I mean it was no longer taking calls or text messages. Now, while I appreciate it knowing when I don’t want to be bothered, it should be taking phone calls from me when I call it. But alas it did not. Read the rest of this entry
As January comes to an end, I realized that I have now spent 6 months with the new Windows 10 on three machines now and so far…it’s not been bad. If you’ll remember before the end of the year, I had officially installed Windows 10 after having issues with the tech version and then the official summer release, to the point, I had to push it off from my desktop for several months.

Have you guys seen Star Wars yet?
And why the heck not??
No, I’m not gonna talk about Star Wars…well, at least not the movie. I am gonna talk about one of the video games and fan fiction and I’m gonna tie it all back to “why you should always have a backup for your stuff”! Just watch –
Over at Lifehacker – the best site for interesting things – they have a series of articles that talk about how people work. Not what they do, but how they do it. For some reason, it got me wondering how many of you freelancing readers out there are working your freelancing. Every person is different when it comes to their working style and freelancing is no different, however with freelancing, you can basically work whenever and wherever you want.
Okay, there is that difference.
But if you’re new to freelancing, how should you be working?
As of yesterday, it has been one month since Windows 10 became the official new release of the Windows operating systems and I have now spent that month having it on both my laptop and my desktop. You’ll remember the previous entries detailed the good and bad of trying to actually install Windows 10 and now that I have, what exactly do I think? Well, I’ll tell you, but first a disclaimer –
As you are a freelancing crowd, I’m sure you’ve already done your homework about Windows 10. This is totally not a review of Windows 10, but a little opinion piece that can hopefully add to the reviews you’ve been reading. With that said, I will say that I’ll be saying things in contradictory form against some of these reviews, so you know – research before you decide to make the plunge!
Let’s make our favorite Stewie Sandwich on this, shall we?
